I need a few REALLY active members to pre-join my MB so I can get some discussion going and some ideas flowing and whatnot while I wait for all hacks to be installed and official opening to happen.

I want about 10 people.
But you have to be willing to make at least 3 posts per day, and contribute to ideas/suggestions discussion.
it would also be preferable if you'd be willing to donate theme headers.

From an upcoming set of icons

//Base.Crop.Sharpen.Whatev. I always go to my filter menu and sharpen once. Sometimes it's too much so I whip out the sharpen tool and "spot sharpen" or sharpen the most important features: hair, nose, facial lines, and eyes. Clothing detail is also important but not always there. And backgrounds that are interesting.

//CTRL+J [[Layer via copy]]. Screen. Opacity varies by photo.

//CTRL+SHIFT+N [[New Transparent/Empty Layer]]. Flood Fill with FFE63B. Set to Soft Light, opacity %100

//Open your Layers Menu>> New Adjustment Layer>> Selective Colour

Enter these settings:

REDS
CYANS -100
MAGENTA +100
YELLOW +100
BLACK +59

YELLOWS
CYANS +27
MAGENTA +100
YELLOW +50
BLACK 0

NEUTRALS
CYANS +80
MAGENTA -30
YELLOW -48

No Guarentees on this working for all pictures in the world. But here's a tut for an icon I made of Gemma Ward.

Okay, I dont have step-by-step pics, just instructions. And bear in mind this pic of Gemma is quite dark, so mostly speaking, this tut is for darker images.

Cut, crop, smudge, sharpen your base however.

1.)Duplicate base, set to screen 30% [[This step is not needed. Adjust opacity as is necessary]]

2.)New Adjustment Layer>> Colour Balance
Midtones: +16, -20, -20

3.)New Adjustment Layer>> Selective Colour
REDS
-100.+8.+35.+23
YELLOWS
-45.-19.+10.-20
CYANS
+100.+15.0.0
BLUES
+100.+15.0.0
NEUTRALS
+100.+5.-15.0

4.)New Adjustment Layer>> Selective Colour
REDS

I dont think my icons are that bad jesus. I cross-posted last set and nothing is happening. So eeeeeeeemooooo. I should quit making icons lol.

Or maybe I should make more. And I should prolly make other stuff too. Like headers, layouts, and all those goodies people really seem to like these days.

This is maybe the biggest thing I'll ever do. 100 Icons from the Movie "Cruel Intentions". A few things: TEXTLESS ICONS ARENT BASES! No matter how much it may look like a base, none of these are bases. Yes colouring effects will get repetitive, but for the love of god, 100 icons! I mean y'know? Uh yeah, comment if taking. Oh and another thing, as I continue to produce these, I realize NONE of them have text. I dislike putting text on icons, it always seems to ruin mine. So pretty much, textlessness.
